HELPING KATRINA VICTIMS
Several troops and individuals have asked how we, as Girl Scouts, can help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. We will be talking at the ACT meeting on Friday about ways we can help as an association. In the meantime, the San Francisco Bay Area Council has posted a link on their homepage to specific requests for supplies from the affected councils. Many of the items are easy to collect as a troop. www.girlscoutsbayarea.org
Also, ARF is collecting items to help take care of animals abandoned during the evacuation. www.peacelovepets.com
